2023 Edition Redesign
This project was re-designed packaging for the 2023 edition of the beloved 90s toy: Furby. The design concept was to create a vintage kids lock box come to life as Furby, appealling strongly to both today’s generation of kids and their parents. This was achieved by evoking nostalgia through the overall structure, while embracing a vibrant maximalist aesthetic with a modern flat and polished illustration style. New brand illustrations, patterns, and a wordmark were created to achieve this vision. To accommodate the maximalist style on limited space, French and English versions of each face are placed on corresponding opposite sides of the box.
